The Taurus Model 709 Slim 9mm in my opinion is probably worst handgun you can purchase. The 709 barrel actually blew up at the range after about 200 rounds. As a 30 yr. gun instructor, I would save up a little more and purchase a reliable and safe handgun. Do your homework before purchasing a firearm that you can depend on.

I just put on a pair that I got today. The 1st was real easy to put on. The 2nd, the screw hole on the side was a struggle to tighten. They look okay. The finish is a bit rough looking, and it is just a li'l bit narrower the the 709's grip, but not so you'd actually notice while gripping the gun.
