The Ruger Security 9 (the 4 inch version) is a recoil operated semi-automatic pistol made by Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc.. It's quite a compact and lightweight hammer-fired pistol designed to be an inexpensive option for self-defense and concealed carry. This pistol with a single-action (SA) trigger relies on the use of the famous 9mm Luger cartridge. Zero problems, although it shoots a bit low. I like Fiocchi 90g XTP HP in my 380 pistols. It works fine in my Glock 42 and did in my Ruger LCP.
