Kwikset long beep after locking

Jan 16, 2015 ... When I lock the door, there is a long beep with the lock and check symbols are flashing. When unlocked the door, it works well without beeping.

On my 264 deadbolt, the door can be locked with the Kwikset button, but the User Code will not unlock the door.
