hi,everyone! i'm a newbie to this forum and already spent a few hours reading alot of postings and learning alot about base stocks and uoa's and so fourth. so,here's my question:is high mileage oil all cracked up to whats it's supposed to be,or is it just a marketing ploy? or is regular...

Is high mileage oil worth it. If you're trying to use high mileage oil to stop leaks in a car that has its rubber gaskets disintegrated or hardened up to the point of being brittle, it would be like throwing water on a house that has already burned down. However, I too am curious if it is worth trying out since my 'Bu now has 105,000 miles on it.
