In Angel Fire, the elevation ranges from about 8,000 feet above sea level to just under 11,000 feet above sea level and due to the high elevation the air is thinner and less oxygen is available. People coming from lower elevations may experience altitude sickness which usually occurs within the first 48 hours. Ski boots are not allowed on the tubing hill.
